CORPORATE GROUPS/TEAM BUILDING DAYS:

• A really effective motivational tool in the workplace is the recognition of staff achievements.  
• A pottery workshop can be a cost effective and powerful way to acknowledge the end of a project, congratulate a promotion, mark a company milestone or simply as a team building exercise or away day.  
• Indeed, pottery is a unique way to build team spirit in a small group environment. 
• It fosters a healthy atmosphere amongst staff and through the interaction, staff members will begin to see each other in a new way and develop positive methods of communication.
• Throughout the day participants will construct and decorate a simple vessel which can then be collected after firing.  They will be encouraged to finish the piece to a high standard so that they come away from the workshop with a piece that they will be proud of.  
• Because the process of using clay is so relaxing staff will unwind and really benefit from being out of the corporate environment for a brief time.  
• The workshops are of course suitable for those with no experience with clay and don’t worry, you do not have to be “creative” to benefit from the class.  
• The fee is €100 per person per day (10am-4pm) and includes all materials, use of equipment/tools, glazes and firing, as well as a home cooked lunch and refreshments. 
• Groups can book the studio for a half day, the fee is €50 if desired.
• Minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 8.  
• Workshops can be booked at short notice provided there is availability.
• Workshops are available Monday-Sunday (days and evenings), including Bank Holidays.   
• My studio is easily accessible by bus, car, taxi or train and is located only 7 miles from city centre.
• A 50% deposit is required to book a group for a workshop.  
• Please note deposits are non-refundable and 24 hours notice is required for cancellation.
